The Taj Mahal Pink Moon Light Tour offers visitors a magical chance to view the Taj Mahal at the beautiful moonlight. This is a view like no other: the monument seems to glow like a fairy tale castle as it is illuminated by a soft pink light against the backdrop of the moon rising over the horizon and lighting up its white marble. Since 2004 night viewing is allowed at the Taj Mahal and tourists can now experience that as well. Regulatioins Night viewing has been allowed on five nights in a month (which includes the full moon night, two nights before and two nights after, excluding Fridays and during the month of Ramadan).
