Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Welcome to India

You are welcome to India on arrival at Delhi Airport or at the International Terminal of your choice. Arrive at Delhi Airport, Your private chauffeur will meet and greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on time of arrival, take an easy walk to Connaught Place or marvel at such monuments as India Gate, illuminated at night.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing – A Tale of Two Cities

Experience the contrasts of India’s capital with your local guide. Visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and take a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk. Head to Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and pass by India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Day 3: Delhi to Agra – The Mughal Marvel

After breakfast, proceed to Agra. Day 03 -Agra Fort Visit the stark, red sandstone Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage monument. In the evening, view the Taj Mahal at sunset from Mehtab Bagh which is a tranquil and beautiful location.

Day 4: Taj Mahal Sunrise – Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Start early with a visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a truly magical part of the tour. After breakfast drive to Jaipur, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri-former Mughal capital. Visit its courtyards, palaces and mosques and then proceed to jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing – A Royal Palette

Experience the royal splendour of Jaipur. Visit Amber Fort by jeep, then City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Visit the iconic Hawa Mahal and stop at Jal Mahal for a couple of Photo-shoot.

Day 6: Jaipur to Haridwar (via flight or train) – Gateway to the Ganges

Onward travel to Haridwar by train or flight (route customizable). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, you can experience the awe-inspiring Ganga Aarti in Har Ki Pauri which is perhaps one of the most spiritual things to do in India.

Day 7: Haridwar to Rishikesh – Yoga Capital of the World

Proceed to Rishikesh after breakfast. The road distance between Haridwar and Rishikesh is around 20-25 km and travel time is about 45-60 minutes. See the best places to visit in Haridwar and Rishikesh, such as Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Join in the Ganga Aarti in the evening at Triveni Ghat.

Day 8: Return to Delhi – Departure

After breakfast proceed for drive back to Delhi to board flight for onward journey, thus bringing an end to your enchanting trip to Haridwar and rishikesh with India s cultural heartland.
