Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Delhi. Meet your private driver and begin your tour of the city’s most iconic buildings. Explore listed on the UNESCO Qutub Minar, graceful Humayun’s Tomb and ceremonial India Gate. Take a drive by the Colonial city’s lagacy buildings…the Presidential House, Parliament. Enjoy the sightseeing and then proceed to your hotel, rest up. Rest at Delhi.

Wander the lively streets of Old Delhi to start your day. Head to the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and the crowded streets of Chandni Chowk, which is full of history and local cuisine. You may offer your respects at Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Then, proceed to Agra by road. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the night, you can go to Mehtab Bagh a tranquil spot to watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River.

Experience the wonder of the Taj Mahal at sunrise; soft light and peaceful surround ations make it more beautiful in ground marble. Then, visit the formidable Agra Fort, seat of the Mughals and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Have breakfast and depart to Orchha, a peaceful, medieval town located on the banks of the Betwa River. Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel, usually a converted palace or a heritage home.

Spend the day soaking up the ageless ambiance of Orchha. See the spectacular Jahangir Mahal, commissioned to receive Emperor Jahangir, and visit the unparalleled Ram Raja Temple, where Lord Rama is venerated as a monarch. Wonder at the colourful murals in the Laxminarayan Temple. In the evening, take a walk by the Betwa River and observe the sun descending over the ancient cenotaphs, an image that will certainly stay in your mind.

After breakfast drive to Khajuraho, known the world over for its exceptional temples and exquisite designs in stone. Upon arrival, proceed to hotel and rest of the day is free to relax. Optional: participate in the Khajuraho Light and Sound show, narrating the story of Chandela dynasty while featuring the temples in Light & Sound show.

Start your guided visit to Temples Western Group, with the now adventure-filled Kandariya Mahadev temple with detailed carvings that reflect the great peaks and valleys of temple architecture and engineering.
