Day 1: Arrival in Agra

Day 1: Arrival in Agra After your arrival at Agra railway station or airport, the car with the driver at your disposal will be there to pick you up and the driver will also be there to assist you with the transfer part to the hotel. After you have checked in and have taken a little rest, meet your local guide to go around Agra Fort, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites that display Mughal splendor. In the evening, go to Mehtab Bagh to quietly watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal located across the river Yamuna from here.

Day 2: Sunrise at the Taj Mahal and Drive to Gwalior

Begin your day early with a sunrise visit to Taj Mahal and see the marble monument bask softly in morning light. Go back to the hotel for breakfast and then travel by road to Gwalior. After check in, you may go for an exploration of the amazing Gwalior Fort followed by the visits to the ancient Sas Bahu Temples and other nearby monuments with your guide.

Day 3: Gwalior to Orchha via Jhansi

Post breakfast, head for the picturesque heritage town of Orchha, making a quick stop at Jhansi on the way. When you reach Orchha, discover the remarkable Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, and Chaturbhuj Temple that are lovely located along the Betwa River. The tranquil vibe and architectural beauty of Orchha are undoubtedly the main attraction of this trip.

Day 4: Orchha to Khajuraho

After breakfast, leave Orchha and drive to Khajuraho, a place famous for its stunning medieval temples. Once you have checked into your hotel, you may either have a leisurely evening or opt for the Light and Sound Show near the Western Group of Temples that portrays the history of the Chandela dynasty.

Day 5: Khajuraho Temple Tour and Optional Cultural Experience

Spend a day walking around the Western and Eastern Group of Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its detailed carvings and stunning art. Your guide will discuss the symbolism,architecture, and cultural significance of the sculptures. You can also do a village walk, a cooking class, or a classical dance show (all subject to availability).

Day 6: Khajuraho to Varanasi (by flight or train)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station in Khajuraho for your flight/train to Varanasi. At your arrival, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel. In the evening, you have the chance to experience the enchanting Ganga Aarti ritual at the sacred ghats of the River Ganges.

Day 7: Varanasi Sightseeing

Your day will start with a tranquil sunrise boat ride on the Ganges River, where you’ll pass ancient river steps and see the locals performing their daily rituals. In the afternoon, go to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Banaras Hindu University, and the Buddhist heritage site of Sarnath where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon.

Day 8: Leisure in Varanasi

You can enjoy a completely free day, at your own pace and in your own style. Stroll through the ancient city alleys, buy the world, famous Banarasi silk, or go for yoga, meditation, or an Ayurvedic massage. Your driver will be there to take you on any sightseeing if you want.

Day 9: Departure from Varanasi

After lunch, your personal driver will take you to the Varanasi airport or railway station where after the transfer your remarkable cultural and spiritual journey comes to an end.
