Day l: Delhi to Agra
Travel from New Delhi to Agra by car and enjoy some sightseeing activities during the day.
Start your trip with a pick up from the airport, train station or your hotel in Delhi.
Drive 3 hours on the highway to reach Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival in Agra, meet your guide and head to the magnificent monument, the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum located on the south bank of the Yamuna River. It was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 to house the mausoleum of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After exploring Taj Mahal, the next is Agra Fort, which is another famous magnificient & UNESCO World Heritage Site. Agra Fort is a historical fort located in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, when the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi.
After visiting Agra Fort, you will head towards Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the night in Jaipur.
Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing
Enjoy sightseeing in Jaipur. Depart in the morning after breakfast, and meet your local guide to visit the Amber Fort. The Amber Fort was the capital of this state a long time ago. En route, enjoy a photo stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of the Winds. Later, visit Jantar Mantar, City Palace Museum, and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons, and paintings. In the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel in New Delhi or another location in the city.
