Day 1: Delhi to Srinagar Arrival
Upon arrival at Srinagar International Airport, you will be driven for 35 minutes to
downtown New Srinagar, passing over the Abadplah Bridge connecting the two banks of
the Jhelum River. You will also visit the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and
Shalimar. You can check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight.
Day 2: Trip To Gulmarg from Srinagar
Enjoy an early breakfast and continue towards Gulmarg. Along the way, you'll explore
the beautiful town of Tangmarg and continue on a 14-kilometer scenic drive to
Gulmarg. Arrive at Gulmarg in the early afternoon and check in at the hotel. Then,
start the short tour by boarding the Gondola cable car system "at your own expense".
About an hour later, return to Gulmarg and then ride horses (at your own expense).
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Trip To Pahalgam
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your Gpmarg hotel, then we drive towards Pahalgam via
Pampore village, Avantipura, and Brij Behara, which is still famous as the
breadbasket of Kashmir. We left National Highway 1A at Khanabal and passed through
the second-largest town, Anantnag. From here, the route becomes picturesque as we
drive parallel to the River Lidder, which flows in the opposite direction. Arrive in
Pahalgam, check in to the hotel, and rest for the day. Overnight at the hotel
Day 04: Return To Srinagar
After breakfast, visit the Betaab and Chandanwari Valleys and go horseback riding in
the Baisaran grasslands. (at your expense). After touring the mountain valley for
most of the day, we will return to Srinagar and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 5: Visit To Wakha Via Kargil
After breakfast, pick up from Srinagar airport and drive to Wakha via Kargil. Stops
along the way include the hamlets of Sonamarg and Baltal, famous for their rugged,
snow-covered grasslands. After Baltal, cross Zoji-La Pass (11,500 feet). We are in
the Drass Valley, with a dramatically different landscape dotted with isolated mud
huts that make you feel like you've actually traveled back in time. After passport
control, we continued our journey to Kargil. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 6: Arrival in Leh
Early in the morning, after breakfast, depart for Leh. This journey usually takes
about 5–6 hours non-stop, but we will stop at Lamayuru Monastery to visit. We will
then continue driving to Leh, visiting Alchi, Sangam, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, and
Magnetic Hill. In the evening, we will reach Leh and check into the hotel. Overnight
at the hotel
Day 7: Visit Towards Nubra Valley
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will drive towards Nubra Valley via
Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world (5602 m). Arrive at Nubra
and continue to visit the white sand dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy a camel ride at
your own expense. Then, if time permits, visit Hunder and Diskit Monasteries and
check in at Deluxe Camp. Free evening. Overnight at the camp
Day 8: Explore Leh
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, continue towards Leh, passing through
Khardungla again via the world's highest motorbike road. In the evening, walk to
explore Leh Bazaar. Overnight at the hotel
Day 9: Pangong Lake
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake, on the Indochina border. On
the way, visit Shey Palace and Gompa. In the evening, check in to camp, have dinner,
and stay overnight.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head towards the airport for the rest of
the trip.
